We are looking for an Effects Design Lead to join our team at PicCollage in Taiwan. Key outcomes
- Partner with our Machine Learning and Image Effects teams to produce creative assets that align with the unique PicCollage aesthetic.
- Work alongside the Marketing department to design stickers, backgrounds, templates, and effects informed by user feedback and market research.
- Propose product improvements that boost content usability by leveraging the latest developments in AI and image processing.
- Serve as the primary voice for the Content team while coordinating with project managers and developers.
- Provide leadership for content initiatives, including team structuring and the execution of long-term strategic goals.
- Monitor industry shifts and emerging design technologies to ensure our content strategy remains impactful and innovative.
Requirements
- Fluency in English for both written and verbal communication.
- At least 5 years of professional experience in visual design, including a minimum of 2 years focused on AI-driven effects and image processing.
- Proficiency in Adobe CC, specifically Illustrator and Photoshop, as well as Figma.
- Practical experience with AI tools like Midjourney and Stable Diffusion.
- Strong project management abilities to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced setting.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively advocate for your visual design vision.
Preferred qualifications
- Fluency in Mandarin.
- A solid understanding of US culture and current trends.
- Technical experience using ComfyUI.
