At Manticore Games, we are building an immersive, life-simulation MMO that pushes the boundaries of multiplayer experiences. We are looking for an innovative and entrepreneurial marketing leader to join our team as a Director or Senior Director of Marketing. In this role, you will take the lead on bringing our ambitious vision to the public, shaping how players and creators discover our platform. While our headquarters are in San Mateo, California, this position is fully remote, allowing you to contribute from anywhere.
What you'll be doing
- You will design and execute our comprehensive go-to-market strategy, overseeing everything from initial awareness and user acquisition to long-term retention and revenue growth.
- You will define our corporate and product positioning, crafting compelling branding and messaging that resonates with our target audience.
- You will manage our marketing ecosystem by leading PR efforts, community management, and market research, while analyzing performance data to optimize our campaigns and ad spend.
What you'll bring
To be successful in this role, you should have at least 8 years of full-stack marketing and leadership experience, ideally within the gaming, social media, or technology sectors. We are looking for a candidate who possesses the following:
- Proven expertise in launching and scaling products, particularly within the free-to-play, MMO, or platform space on PC and console.
- A strong background in building brands from the ground up and executing successful viral, grassroots, or guerrilla marketing campaigns.
- Exceptional data analysis skills, with the ability to synthesize complex KPIs into clear reports for executive leadership.
- A deep passion for gaming and the ability to communicate complex ideas clearly in English.
- A bachelor's degree in business, marketing, engineering, or a related field.
What you'll get
