The opportunity
We are searching for a highly motivated Director, Product Management to lead the strategy and execution of our product portfolio. In this role, you will be a central figure in our growth, overseeing both our capital equipment and disposable product lines. You will play a vital part in shaping the future of the HYDROS Robotic System and other future innovations. This is a strategic leadership position where you will mentor a talented team, collaborate across departments, and ensure that our products continue to set the standard in the surgical robotics industry.
A day in the life
- Team Leadership: You will mentor and coach a group of product managers, fostering a culture of high performance and innovation while actively recruiting top talent to scale our organization.
- Strategic Planning: You will define the long-term vision and roadmap for our products by conducting deep market analysis, assessing customer needs, and staying ahead of competitive trends.
- Cross-Functional Execution: You will work closely with engineering, marketing, regulatory, and sales teams to manage the entire product lifecycle, from initial concept through to successful commercial launch and post-market surveillance.
Who you are
You are a strategic thinker with a strong background in the medical device or medical technology sector. You possess the technical acumen to navigate complex regulatory environments and the leadership skills to inspire a team. You are comfortable working in a fast-paced environment and are dedicated to improving patient outcomes through innovation.
Key requirements include:
- A Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, or a related field.
- At least 8 years of product management experience within the medical device or med-tech industry.
- A minimum of 4 years in a leadership role managing teams and setting product strategy.
- Fluency in English and the ability to work in a hybrid capacity, with at least 3 days per week at our San Jose office.
- A willingness to travel up to 30% of the time.
