Imagine a team where clinical data stops being a barrier and starts becoming a bridge. At IMO, we build the tools that turn messy, fragmented healthcare information into clear, usable intelligence. Our Data Quality Management suite, including IMO Precision Normalize, Melax NLP, and IMO Precision Sets, helps clinicians, researchers, and life sciences organizations work with data they can trust. We are looking for a leader who can shape how these products evolve and reach the people who need them most.
The opportunity
As Director of Product Management for Clinical AI and Semantic Normalization, you will guide the vision and growth of our data quality solutions. Your work will connect customer needs with technical possibilities, ensuring our products deliver measurable value in real healthcare settings. You will serve as the primary voice for these offerings, shaping roadmaps, pricing, and positioning while collaborating across engineering, clinical informatics, sales, and marketing. This role sits at the center of our efforts to bring reliable, outcomes-focused data tools to market.
A day in the life
- You will lead cross-functional teams through the full product lifecycle, aligning product, engineering, architecture, clinical informatics, client services, sales, and marketing around shared goals.
- You will study the market closely, spotting gaps and generating ideas that create value for both customers and internal teams, then translate those insights into clear product direction.
- You will track performance metrics, make data-informed decisions, and communicate product positioning and ROI to stakeholders so everyone understands the impact of our work.
Who you are
You bring more than ten years of experience in product management, informatics, or product development within healthcare software, with a strong focus on data normalization, NLP, or AI-driven solutions. You understand life sciences markets and the factors that influence successful commercialization. You have worked with advanced analytics tools that involve complex data integrations, visualizations, data mining, machine learning, artificial intelligence, business intelligence, or natural language processing. You know how value sets and quality measures support outcomes-based care. You communicate clearly, collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders, and have a proven record of building and growing products in competitive or complex environments. You are fluent in English and ready to work in a hybrid model from the Chicagoland or Houston, Texas areas.
Why you'll love it here
We offer a hybrid work arrangement that supports both focused individual work and meaningful team connection. You will join colleagues who value integrity, customer empathy, and open partnership. Your contributions will directly influence how healthcare organizations use data to improve care, research, and outcomes, giving you the chance to see the real-world difference your leadership makes every day.
