Tomo is a digital mortgage company dedicated to removing the complexity and greed from the lending process. By leveraging an AI-driven platform, we help homebuyers save thousands of dollars and are backed by prominent investors like Ribbit, DST, and NFX. We are looking for a visionary Director of Public Relations to join our team and help establish our brand as a household name that champions transparency and honesty in home finance.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute our earned media strategy to share our mission of fighting for customers in the financial sector.
- Collaborate directly with our CEO and marketing leadership to position our executives as industry thought leaders.
- Partner with our creative and marketing teams to launch provocative, high-impact campaigns that increase our brand visibility.
- Manage media relations by leveraging your existing network of journalists and influencers to expand our influence.
- Oversee project timelines and budgets to ensure all initiatives are delivered effectively and on schedule.
Must-haves
- Over 10 years of experience in public relations, with a proven track record of managing both consumer and corporate campaigns.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to handle complex, multi-faceted initiatives independently.
- A meticulous approach to planning, combined with a sense of urgency and a command presence.
- Fluency in English.
- Experience working with innovative brands and managing creative teams.
Nice-to-haves
- Professional background in the mortgage, real estate, or financial services industries.
- Previous experience working within an early-stage startup environment.
Benefits
The annual salary for this role is between $160,000 and $180,000 USD.
