The Stellar Development Foundation is seeking a Director of Product Marketing to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis. Since 2014, our mission-driven non-profit has focused on creating equitable access to the global financial system by supporting the growth of the Stellar blockchain network. We are looking for an executive leader to bridge the gap between our product and marketing efforts, helping to drive adoption and support the diverse ecosystem of entrepreneurs and enterprises building on our open-source platform.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive go-to-market strategies for new product launches and feature updates, including positioning, messaging, and detailed market analysis.
- Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of product marketers while ensuring strong cross-functional collaboration with our product and partnership departments.
- Oversee the Stellar Marketing Grant program by identifying ecosystem projects, assessing internal marketing capabilities, and monitoring performance to ensure meaningful network transactions.
Requirements
- At least 8 years of experience in product marketing, with a proven track record of leadership within an organization.
- Professional background in web3, blockchain, Fintech, or B2B sectors.
- Strong technical acumen and the ability to translate complex concepts for both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Demonstrated success in strategic planning, competitive analysis, and managing cross-functional initiatives.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a genuine passion for the potential of blockchain technology.
What we offer
We provide a base salary range of $200,000 to $230,000, determined by your specific experience, skills, and location. In addition to lumen-denominated grants, we offer a comprehensive benefits package including:
