Role at a glance
We are seeking a Director of Product Design to join us on a full-time basis. This is a senior-level leadership role based in Australia, operating in a hybrid work environment. You will be instrumental in defining the design vision for our product initiatives and providing local leadership to our talented design team.
Your impact
- You will define the design direction and strategy for specific product areas, collaborating closely with General Managers, Principal Designers, and engineering leadership to ensure we deliver consistent, high-quality experiences.
- You will lead, mentor, and coach a diverse group of designers, ranging from graduates to leads, helping them grow their capabilities through regular design critique and professional development.
- You will act as a key partner to product and engineering teams, advocating for the value of design while refining our internal processes to drive operational excellence and innovation.
What you'll need
To succeed in this role, you should have extensive experience in product design and design direction. We are looking for a leader who excels at mentorship and has a proven track record in product strategy and cross-functional collaboration. You should be highly proficient with modern design tools and possess the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels. Fluency in English is required to effectively communicate our vision and lead our teams across the region.
