At Included Health, we’re building a new kind of healthcare company that removes barriers so every person can receive high-quality, personalized care. Our platform connects members with guidance, advocacy, and access across urgent, primary, behavioral, and specialty care, with a special focus on serving the LGBTQ+ community, Black Americans, and other groups historically underserved by the U.S. healthcare system. We’re looking for a Director of Product Design to shape the first experiences our members have with our products and to keep them engaged long after they sign up.
What you'll be doing
- Shape and drive a clear vision and strategy for Member Growth and Engagement, working closely with leaders across Product, Marketing, Clinical, and Finance to turn that vision into measurable outcomes.
- Guide experimentation and iteration across signup, onboarding, activation, and retention loops-using A/B tests, qualitative insights, and quantitative data to refine experiences such as notifications, email, SMS, and in-product prompts.
- Lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing team of product designers while partnering daily with engineers, marketers, analysts, and data scientists to deliver intuitive, consumer-grade experiences that move key growth metrics.
What you'll bring
- At least 12 years of product design experience, including 5 or more years leading design teams in consumer-facing environments.
- Hands-on expertise running A/B and multivariate tests, rapid prototyping, and leveraging both qualitative research and quantitative data to uncover opportunities.
- Familiarity with AI and generative-AI product development, plus experience applying personalization and user-segmentation tactics to increase engagement.
- A track record of attracting and retaining top design talent and fostering a culture of experimentation, innovation, and continuous learning.
- Strong collaboration skills with Marketing teams on growth and retention initiatives, along with the ability to communicate clearly with executives about priorities, trade-offs, and risks.
- Comfort working in complex product ecosystems, navigating ambiguity, and maintaining high ethical standards aligned with our mission to raise the standard of healthcare for everyone.
- Fluency in English.
