Role at a glance
We are seeking a Director of Product Design to join our team in a full-time capacity. This is a senior-level leadership position that operates on a hybrid basis, and we are open to candidates located anywhere. You will report directly to our Head of Product Design and oversee the design strategy for our entire Talent suite.
Your impact
- Lead and mentor a talented team of designers, fostering a culture of operational excellence while coaching individual contributors to become the next generation of design leaders.
- Drive design strategy by partnering with cross-functional teams in Research, Data Science, and Engineering to create a multi-year vision for our product portfolio that redefines people success.
- Champion design quality across the organization, ensuring that our platform remains cohesive, interoperable, and intuitive while setting high standards for visual design, interaction patterns, and animation.
What you'll need
You should have at least 7 years of progressive experience in product design, with a minimum of 4 years spent in a management role. We are looking for a candidate who possesses the following qualities:
- A strong portfolio demonstrating high-level craft and the ability to elevate user experiences through functional, delightful design.
- Proven experience navigating complex, multi-product environments, ideally within B2B SaaS.
- Exceptional storytelling and communication skills, with the ability to articulate design impact to stakeholders and facilitate productive collaboration.
- A track record of partnering effectively with disciplines such as User Research, UX Writing, Brand Design, and Design Systems.
- The ability to thrive in ambiguous situations, take full accountability for your team's output, and lead with a systems-thinking mindset.
Perks and compensation
The annual cash salary for this position ranges from $171,000 to $268,000. In addition to competitive pay, you will be eligible for incentive stock options. Our benefits package includes:
