We are looking for a Director of Marketing Programs to join our team and lead the development and execution of multi-channel initiatives that drive brand awareness and business growth. Mattermost provides secure, workflow-centric collaboration tools for technical and operational teams, serving high-stakes industries like national defense, public sector, and financial services, while maintaining a vibrant open-source community of over 4,000 contributors.
Responsibilities
- Design and implement comprehensive marketing programs that align with company goals to drive demand generation and pipeline growth.
- Oversee the full lifecycle of multi-channel campaigns, spanning digital, email, social media, events, and content marketing.
- Partner with product marketing, sales, and growth teams to ensure consistent messaging and seamless cross-functional execution.
- Manage program budgets and allocate resources effectively to ensure projects are delivered on time and within scope.
- Lead relationships with external agencies and vendors to ensure all deliverables meet our brand standards and campaign objectives.
- Track program performance through defined KPIs and use data-driven insights to optimize strategies and maximize return on investment.
- Communicate program impact and strategic recommendations to senior leadership and key stakeholders.
Must-haves
- A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- At least 8 years of experience in marketing with a proven history of executing successful programs.
- Deep expertise in integrated marketing strategies across digital, content, social, and event channels.
- Strong project management skills with the ability to manage complex initiatives, budgets, and resources.
- An analytical mindset with the ability to use data to drive campaign optimization.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders at all levels.
- Demonstrated leadership and team-building capabilities in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Fluency in English.

- An MBA or a relevant advanced degree.
- A deep understanding of the defense, intelligence, and critical infrastructure sectors.
- Experience building marketing channels within high-security or mission-critical environments.
