The opportunity
We are looking for a strategic Director of Marketing Communications to join our team in New York. Reporting directly to our Head of Marketing, you will serve as a key architect of our brand narrative. This role is perfect for a seasoned professional who wants to bridge the gap between internal engagement and external visibility. You will be responsible for ensuring that our story resonates with our employees, our clients, and the broader investor community, all while maintaining the high editorial standards that define our work.
A day in the life
- You will oversee our integrated editorial calendar, ensuring that our content strategy is cohesive across all internal and external channels.
- You will lead the planning and execution of high-impact marketing campaigns that elevate our brand presence in the marketplace.
- You will manage internal communication initiatives, creating meaningful touchpoints that keep our growing team connected and engaged.
Who you are
You bring at least 10 years of experience in communications, content strategy, journalism, or public relations. You are a natural storyteller who knows how to translate complex ideas into clear, compelling narratives. You possess a strong analytical mindset, allowing you to measure campaign effectiveness and optimize our marketing tech stack. You are comfortable working cross-functionally, and you handle sensitive announcements with the utmost discretion. While you are an expert in external media relations, you also have a keen interest in internal communications and organizational culture. Fluency in English is required for this role.
Why you'll love it here
We believe in rewarding our team for their dedication and talent. The salary range for this position is $150,000 to $160,000, with additional eligibility for performance-based year-end bonuses. Beyond compensation, we offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your well-being and professional growth:
- Full medical, dental, and vision insurance coverage for you and your dependents.
- A 401k plan featuring a 4% employer match with no vesting period.
- Generous paid time off, including 20 vacation days, 10 wellness days, birthday leave, and a collective break between Christmas and New Year’s Day.
- Support for your daily life through pre-tax commuter benefits, mobile phone reimbursement, and discounted bikeshare memberships.
- Employer-funded life insurance and access to corporate discounts.
- A collaborative hybrid work environment, with three days per week spent in our New York office to foster team connection.
