Role at a glance
We are seeking a seasoned Director of Internal Communications to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a remote position open to candidates anywhere, provided you are located in one of the states where we currently hire. You will report directly to the VP of Communications and serve as a key member of our Brand and Communications team, acting as a strategic partner to our leadership while guiding our internal narrative.
Your impact
- Design and implement a forward-thinking internal communication strategy that aligns with our business goals, boosts engagement, and strengthens our unique company culture.
- Own the end-to-end production of corporate internal content, including All Hands meetings, executive messaging, and our annual Kick-Off events.
- Serve as a trusted advisor to our C-suite and leadership team, ensuring that our internal communications are consistent, impactful, and reflective of our core values.
What you'll need
- Expert-level written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Proven experience leading and mentoring teams, particularly within organizations undergoing significant scaling or change.
- A strategic mindset combined with the ability to execute tactically, including strong project management skills to handle competing priorities.
- Demonstrated success in influencing cross-functional partners and executives.
- Experience thriving in a remote work environment and communicating effectively across distributed teams.
- A calm, empathetic, and collaborative demeanor, especially when managing crisis communications or navigating high-pressure situations.
Perks and compensation
The annual base salary for this role ranges from $158,000 to $249,500 USD, depending on your specific qualifications and location. In addition to base pay, you will be eligible for our annual bonus plan and our long-term equity incentive program. We also provide:
