A high-growth, venture-backed startup disrupting a huge category in the wellness space is seeking a visionary and strategic Director of Growth Marketing to lead the brand's growth journey, from in-studio experiences to online e-commerce. In this role, you will be a key component to the founding team tasked with developing and executing innovative growth strategies,via impactful campaigns that resonate with the targeted audience and business goals. With the support of the co-CEOs and agency partners, you'll drive the strategic initiavies, including acquisition strategies, partnership development, influencer campaigns, and more.
As the first marketing hire, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the brand's narrative and driving customer acquisition. If you thrive in dynamic, early-stage environments and are excited about the prospect of building something groundbreaking, we want to hear from you!

What You'll Do
  • Customer Acquisition & Omnichannel Marketing. Oversee and drive the company’s omnichannel customer acquisition, ranging from paid media channels to organic channels
  • Campaign Management. Coordinate the execution of paid campaigns from beginning to end, including management of project timelines, coordinating content creation, managing agency partners, ongoing program optimization, and campaign reporting
  • Brand Development and Local Marketing. Grow the brand through Studio Marketing efforts such as professional referral partnerships, influencer relationships, and local activations.  Oversee new studio openings to achieve performance requirements. 
  • Public Relations and Media Management. Manage PR consultants to ensure we receive a steady stream of press. Manage PR consultants to ensure we receive a steady stream of press
  • Market Research and Customer Insights. Co-lead any research, focus groups, surveys, or data collection for the purpose of better understanding our customers and ideating new offers with other business stakeholders. 
  • Data Analysis and Reporting. Lead weekly and monthly reporting across all growth KPIs in the business. Oversee the financial impact and ROI of each offer and the impact each new customer is adding to the overall business & financial plan. 
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration. Work collaboratively with the cross-functional team on the monthly marketing calendar that meets brand and business goals. 
  • Leadership and Project Management. Set and deliver on aggressive deadlines and drive yourself and the team around you to action, approaching the work with a no-ego attitude and rolling up your sleeves to tackle whatever needs to be done


  • What You Need
  • 2+ years of experience in consulting with brands like Deloitte, Bain or other consultancy firms.
  • 7+ years of experience in marketing, growth in startups, high growth CPG, wellnes, beauty or related.
  • Deep experience with digital marketing, acquisition, retention, performance marketing, paid media and customer segmentation
  • Strong analytical skills and creative approach to solving unstructured problems
  • A history of driving profitable growth using various marketing channels, balancing experimentation while managing towards CAC targets
  • Experience with or exposure to 4-wall/retail/studio marketing efforts is a benefit, including grass roots, partnerships, referral programs, and other non-digital efforts
  • You can see the big picture and dig into the weeds (and switch between both several times per day)
  • You have an entrepreneurial spirit and want to help build a company from the ground up, working on many different projects and constantly changing priorities
  • You are a self-starter with a bias for action and don’t let perfection get in the way of getting things out the door
  • You are a tester and tinkerer and love figuring out what works and unlocks the business
  • You are a relationship-builder and communicator that can motivate and influence up, down, and around, including within our Studios. 
  • You are a problem solver – you have a talent for managing complex projects, driving high-level goals into actionable plans, and enjoy implementing processes
  • You are an outcome and results-driven marketer who will be pivotal in driving our top-line growth by translating innovative marketing strategies into measurable business outcomes.
