The opportunity
We are seeking a Director of Experiential Marketing and Showroom Expansion to shape how our brand shows up in the physical world. This role is a blend of high-level strategy and hands-on execution. You will immerse yourself in our current Los Angeles showroom projects before shifting your focus to lead the launch of our new New York showroom, which is set to open in 2026. You will be responsible for defining the vision, planning the build-out, and setting a new standard for how we engage with parents in major cultural hubs. You will report directly to the VP of Brand and Media, serving as the primary driver for our experiential growth.
A day in the life
- You will spearhead the end-to-end launch of our New York showroom, managing everything from the initial build-out roadmap and vendor coordination to the final brand experience.
- You will develop and execute creative brand moments, including pop-ups, influencer activations, and events that bring the Babylist community together in our showrooms.
- You will manage complex project budgets and collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as design and operations, to ensure every activation aligns with our business goals and brand vision.
Who you are
You are a seasoned leader with 10 to 12 years of experience in experiential marketing for consumer brands. You possess a proven track record of managing physical build-outs, such as retail stores or showrooms, and you are comfortable working with diverse budgets ranging from intimate influencer gatherings to large-scale activations. You are a clear communicator who can distill complex perspectives into actionable strategies, and you are equally passionate about creative brainstorming and rigorous data-driven measurement. You have a deep understanding of the Babylist brand and a desire to evolve our physical presence through strategic partnerships and innovative design.
