We are looking for a strategic and metrics-driven Director of Demand Generation to help us scale our market presence and drive revenue growth. Shopmonkey is the leading cloud-based software platform for auto-repair shops, designed to help businesses consolidate their tools and streamline operations. As we continue to innovate within the massive global car repair market, we need a seasoned leader to manage our demand generation efforts and help us reach our next stage of growth. Please note that this is a hybrid role, requiring you to work from our Marin County, California WeWork office two days per week.

Key outcomes

  • Manage our acquisition budget to consistently meet revenue goals and Marketing Qualified Lead (MQL) targets.
  • Develop and execute account-based marketing (ABM) strategies to accelerate the progression of larger deals through our pipeline.
  • Oversee spend efficiency by monitoring and optimizing Cost-Per-Click, Cost-Per-Lead, and Cost-Per-Acquisition metrics.
  • Lead the hands-on creation and management of multi-channel demand generation campaigns.
  • Collaborate closely with sales leadership to maintain a feedback loop that ensures high lead quality.
  • Utilize A/B testing to refine campaign performance and optimize landing page conversions.
  • Manage and improve our marketing automation efforts to ensure effective lead nurturing.
  • Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team of marketing professionals.
  • Stay current on industry innovations and educate executive leadership on emerging trends.

Requirements

  • 7 to 10 years of progressive experience in demand generation or acquisition marketing.
  • At least 5 years of dedicated experience in B2B marketing.
  • Proven ability to optimize spend across a diverse range of demand generation channels.
  • Strong SEO knowledge to drive organic traffic and lead growth.
  • Experience leveraging non-digital tactics to support broader demand generation goals.
  • Ability to establish and maintain reporting cadences to update executive staff on progress.
  • Excellent communication, presentation, and copywriting skills.

Compensation

The base salary for this position is $180,000 per year, plus bonus, equity, and a comprehensive benefits package. Our benefits include:
