We are looking for a Director of Communications to join our team in New York. As a venture-backed Public Benefit Corporation, we use AI to map complex global systems, starting with healthcare, to help the world make better decisions.
Responsibilities
- Lead initiatives to boost our visibility within the healthcare and life sciences sectors.
- Identify and share stories of our impact through various channels, including op-eds, scientific papers, and events.
- Partner with our design team to craft and execute creative brand and communications strategies that support our business objectives.
- Build and maintain relationships with key media contacts and industry thought leaders.
- Oversee our event and conference presence.
- Collaborate across teams to support product launches, partnerships, and corporate milestones.
- Use data to track engagement and inform your strategic decisions.
- Stay closely connected to our product and business development teams to ensure our messaging remains accurate and timely.
Must-haves
- At least 3 years of experience in strategic communications at a mission-driven organization.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- An extroverted, proactive approach to work.
- The ability to thrive in a fast-paced startup environment by managing multiple priorities both independently and through cross-functional collaboration.
- Fluency in English.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States.

Benefits
The salary range for this position is $155,000 to $170,000.
