The opportunity
We are looking for a Director of Communications and Content to act as the primary steward of our brand voice. In this role, you will shape how we communicate internally and externally, positioning Tropic as the definitive thought leader in spend management for finance, IT, and procurement professionals. You will lead our public and media relations strategies while building a content roadmap that directly supports our business goals. This is a high-impact position for a resilient, creative leader who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is ready to elevate our presence in the SaaS market.
A day in the life
- You will develop and execute comprehensive communication strategies that keep our employees, stakeholders, and clients informed and aligned with our brand identity.
- You will collaborate with product marketing and subject matter experts to produce a full-funnel content strategy, including everything from high-level press releases and newsletters to engaging blog posts and research reports.
- You will lead our public relations efforts, managing media outreach, crisis communications, and social media campaigns to ensure our messaging remains consistent and impactful across every channel.
Who you are
You are a strategic communicator with at least 7 years of experience in journalism, copywriting, or corporate communications. You have a deep understanding of the SaaS landscape and know how to translate complex industry trends into compelling narratives. You possess exceptional writing skills, a sharp eye for SEO best practices, and the ability to work effectively with diverse stakeholders. You are fluent in English and have a proven track record of managing content marketing initiatives that drive engagement and conversion.
