We invite an exceptional leader to join Swayable as our first Director of Artificial Intelligence and help steer the future of applied AI within a mission-driven analytics company.

What you bring

We are seeking an executive-level professional to serve in a full-time, on-site capacity in the United States. In this role you will combine deep expertise in artificial intelligence, analytics, large language models, deep learning, software engineering, data science, prototyping, business operations, and product research to guide our technical direction. Your three core responsibilities will be discovering high-value AI opportunities across the organization, rapidly prototyping and validating new capabilities, and partnering directly with the CEO and CTO to translate research into production features. This position is located in the United States.

Requirements

The ideal candidate brings extensive hands-on experience developing, deploying, and fine-tuning large language models, along with an up-to-the-minute grasp of the broader AI landscape. Strong analytical thinking, clear communication, and collaborative problem-solving are essential soft skills, while fluency in English is required. We value demonstrated impact over formal credentials; an advanced degree in a relevant field or recognized certifications can be helpful but are not mandatory. We look for curious, adaptable professionals who thrive in fast-moving environments and are eager to apply cutting-edge techniques to real-world challenges in public-opinion measurement and social-impact campaigns.

What we offer

Base salary ranges from $150,000 to $190,000 depending on location and experience. In addition to competitive pay, we provide equity compensation consistent with an early-team-member stake, full medical insurance with no employee contribution required, generous paid time off and parental leave, and a 401k plan.
