We are looking for a strategic leader to join our team as the Director of Marketing Technology and Operations. At FirstKey Homes, we are dedicated to providing high-quality rental housing, and we need a visionary professional to help us refine our marketing systems and drive operational excellence. You will report directly to our Senior Vice President of Marketing and Customer Experience, playing a pivotal role in shaping how we leverage technology and data to connect with our customers.
What is this role?
This is a full-time, hybrid leadership position based in the United States. We are seeking an experienced director with over 10 years of background in marketing operations and technology, including at least 5 years of experience managing teams. You will be responsible for overseeing four distinct areas: Marketing Operations, Email Marketing, Product Management, and Performance Marketing. Your work will directly influence our ability to scale, optimize our marketing return on investment, and innovate our digital toolkit.
What will you do?
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of four managers, fostering a results-oriented culture that aligns with our broader business goals.
- Oversee the procurement, implementation, and integration of our marketing technology stack, including platforms like Google Analytics, CDPs, and marketing automation tools.
- Utilize advanced data analytics to measure campaign performance, establish key performance indicators, and provide actionable insights that drive decision-making across the organization.

- A bachelor’s degree in marketing, business, or data analytics, with a master’s degree considered a plus.
- Proven expertise in leadership, with a track record of managing high-performing teams and complex projects.
- Strong technical proficiency in marketing technology, specifically with tools used for performance tracking and automation.
- Exceptional communication skills, allowing you to influence stakeholders and clearly articulate complex data-driven strategies.
- A collaborative and persistent work style, with a natural inclination toward innovation and creative problem-solving.
Please note that as part of our interview process, we will ask you to share a real-world example of how you used data to solve a challenge, and you will be asked to walk through your approach to a marketing problem during a live session.
