The Impact of a Director of Marketing, Coupa Pay at Coupa:
Coupa is seeking a Director of Marketing, Coupa Pay with experience in B2B payment solutions. The ideal candidate should be data-driven and capable of operating at both strategic and tactical levels. This role will report to the VP, Americas Growth Marketing and play a crucial part in fostering the growth of Coupa's payment ecosystem. This role is designated as the key strategist and executor, ensuring alignment of marketing initiatives with the business's goals and objectives. You will work closely with our Coupa Pay line of business and partners to create and execute joint marketing initiatives aimed at driving revenue for Coupa. You will be supporting (managing) 1 dedicated demand generation resource.
What you will do:
Responsible for devising, implementing, and monitoring comprehensive marketing strategies that drive growth and engagement. Work closely with line of business leadership to create a cohesive marketing planEnsure alignment with other departments, such as sales, product development, and customer success, to ensure that the marketing strategy support the overall business objectives and operational capabilitiesManage the marketing budget effectively, allocating resources to different campaigns and initiatives, and ensuring a good returnIdentify key market trends, competitor activities, and customer needs to inform the marketing strategyCollaborate with Coupa’s payment ecosystem partners to create compelling content, including case studies, whitepapers, webinars, and other collateralLead and partner with the Coupa Pay demand generation resource on a strategy that is mutually beneficial for Coupa and our partnersReport and track success metrics across all DG campaignsAnalyze and segment target audiences to tailor marketing messages and campaigns effectively, ensuring maximum impact and relevanceOperate in a player/coach role to plan and coordinate events, including Coupa-hosted or third party conferences, webinars, and trade showsEnsure effective pre-event promotion and post-event follow-up to maximize impactEstablish key performance indicators (KPIs) to measure the success of partnership marketing initiativesAnalyze campaign performance data to derive insights and continually optimize marketing strategiesWhat you will bring to Coupa:
10+ years of partner marketing experience, primarily in B2B paymentsProven experience in B2B demand generation, preferably in the technology or SaaS industryUnderstanding of to-, through- and with-partner marketing strategies and tacticsAbility to plan, manage, and execute several marketing programs simultaneouslyProven analytical skills, able to assess opportunities and make decisions on the ROI of programs and investmentsData-driven mindset with the ability to analyze and interpret marketing metricsExceptional ability to lead, influence, and work across organizational and geographic boundaries, with a strong track record of cross-functional collaborationAbility to operate and excel at strategic as well as tactical levelsExcellent communication and facilitation skills, both at the executive level and with peers and cross-functional teamsAbility and willingness to travel to external events, internal meetings at Coupa offices and/or partner meetings (expected 25% travel)Experience with Salesforce and Marketo is required#LI-Remote
