About the Role
We are looking for a Director of Marketing and Communications to join our team in a full-time capacity. This is a vital role where you will shape our brand identity and lead our outreach efforts to investors, customers, and other key stakeholders. You will be responsible for crafting our narrative, managing corporate communications, and driving marketing strategies that highlight the potential of our technology. Please note that this is currently an individual contributor position without direct reports.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute comprehensive marketing strategies that promote our value-add solutions for the critical minerals sector.
- Lead our investor relations efforts by effectively communicating our vision, growth potential, and performance to financial sponsors and large industry partners.
- Oversee all corporate communications, including branding, media relations, press releases, and internal messaging to ensure alignment across the organization.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should bring a blend of strategic thinking and tactical execution. We are looking for the following qualifications:
- A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field, with a Master’s degree considered a plus.
- Proven experience in a senior marketing or communications role, ideally within a high-profile technology or SaaS environment.
- Expertise in branding, corporate communications, and investor relations, with a talent for crafting powerful messaging.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with proficiency in Spanish being a definite asset.
- A valid passport and the ability to travel within North America for tradeshows approximately 6 to 8 times per year.
- Strong proficiency in digital marketing tools and platforms.
Location
This position is based in Canada and operates on a hybrid work model.
