The opportunity
We are seeking a Director, Internal AI to lead our transition into an AI-first company. This is a brand-new role, which means you will have the unique opportunity to define its scope and shape our internal strategy from the ground up. You will bridge the gap between leadership goals and operational reality, identifying where we can improve our processes and implementing smart, scalable AI solutions. You will be the driving force behind our internal innovation, ensuring that we remain competitive while fostering a culture that embraces new technology.
A day in the life
- You will architect and execute a company-wide AI strategy, rethinking our internal workflows to ensure we are prepared for an AI-enabled future.
- You will collaborate across departments, including engineering, product, data science, legal, and HR, to scale AI initiatives while maintaining high standards for governance and ethics.
- You will lead research and development efforts, evaluating new AI vendors and emerging technologies to integrate transformative tools into our daily operations.
Who you are
You are a visionary leader with a deep passion for organizational change and process improvement. You possess a strong background in engineering leadership and have practical experience building and deploying AI tools at scale. To be successful in this role, you should have:
- A solid understanding of machine learning, natural language processing, and modern LLMs, including the ability to weigh their risks against their benefits.
- Proven experience in project and change management, with a results-driven mindset that helps you navigate a fast-paced environment.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to communicate effectively in English.
- A desire to constantly explore new information and uncover opportunities to improve business operations at every level.
