Mattermost provides secure, workflow-centric collaboration tools designed for technical and operational teams that require high-level security and trust. We serve a diverse range of industries, including the public sector, national defense, and global financial services, by offering an open-core platform that integrates messaging, AI-acceleration, and automation. As our Director of Growth Marketing, you will report directly to the CMO and lead our efforts to scale demand generation and pipeline growth across our global enterprise and public sector markets.
Responsibilities
- Strategic Planning: Develop quarterly growth strategies that align with corporate objectives, estimating the revenue impact of campaign investments across various high-quality channels.
- Demand Generation: Oversee all acquisition activities, including paid media, SEO, email, ABM, and events, while managing the budget to maximize return on investment.
- Marketing Operations: Define the global integrated campaign plan and channel mix to drive new leads and expansion opportunities across regions like the Americas, EMEA, and APAC.
- Performance Optimization: Manage web interactions on our platform to ensure prospects move efficiently through the funnel toward becoming sales-accepted leads.
- Team Leadership: Mentor and grow a high-performing team of digital and campaign marketers, providing guidance on attribution, paid advertising, and content syndication.
- Stakeholder Education: Partner with product, sales, and customer success teams to foster collaboration and align marketing efforts with broader company goals.
- Innovation: Utilize an agile, iterative approach to test new tactics, analyze performance data, and rapidly refine strategies to improve efficiency.
Must-haves
- At least 8 years of experience in B2B software marketing, specifically targeting enterprise or public sector clients.
- Expertise in attribution modeling and using funnel metrics to inform decision-making across multiple channels.
- Hands-on experience executing integrated, multi-touch campaigns that combine inbound and outbound tactics.
- Proficiency with marketing technology stacks, including Salesforce, marketing automation, ABM platforms, and intent data tools.
- Proven ability to manage budgets effectively while maintaining a focus on growth and results.
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of developing high-performance teams and influencing cross-functional stakeholders.
- Exceptional communication skills and a bachelor's degree.
