The role
We are seeking a Director, Global Social Media to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis in the United States. This is a senior-level leadership position for a strategic thinker who can drive brand growth, engagement, and revenue through innovative social media and influencer marketing. You will report directly to the VP of Global Ecommerce and Marketing Operations, serving as a hands-on leader who can scale our digital initiatives and transform our social presence into a primary business driver.
Core responsibilities
- Develop and execute a comprehensive global social media strategy that aligns with our broader business objectives and marketing goals.
- Build, mentor, and lead a high-performing team focused on social media, content creation, and influencer marketing, while fostering collaboration across internal departments.
- Accelerate our social commerce efforts by working closely with our eCommerce teams to maximize sales performance across major platforms like TikTok Shop, Instagram, and Meta.
Skills and experience
To be successful in this role, you should possess a deep understanding of the digital landscape and a passion for data-driven storytelling. We are looking for the following qualifications:
- At least 6 to 8 years of experience in social media management, influencer marketing, or digital marketing, ideally within a global eCommerce environment or a marketing agency.
- Proven expertise in major social platforms, including TikTok, Instagram, Meta, X, YouTube, and Pinterest, along with a strong grasp of their evolving algorithms.
- A data-driven mindset with proficiency in analytics tools such as Meta Business Manager, Sprout Social, and Google Analytics.
- Strong leadership skills with a track record of managing high-performing teams and executing campaigns at scale.
- Experience with content creation tools like Canva and Adobe Creative Suite, as well as project management platforms like Asana.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
Compensation and benefits
The anticipated pay scale for this position is $162,190 to $221,169 USD, though the final offer may vary based on your specific experience, education, and geographic location.
