Acquia empowers the world’s most ambitious brands to build meaningful digital customer experiences using the open source power of Drupal. We are looking for a strategic Director of Field Marketing & Events to join our team and drive pipeline growth across the Americas by leading our regional marketing and event initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Develop and execute integrated marketing plans that align local initiatives with our global strategy in partnership with sales and cross-functional teams.
- Drive account-based marketing strategies to support targeted sales efforts.
- Maintain a strong feedback loop with sales leadership to communicate upcoming programs and optimize the impact of our marketing activities.
- Manage vendor relationships, including sourcing, contract negotiations, and event logistics.
- Oversee budget tracking and event planning to ensure all activities remain aligned with our revenue goals.
- Lead and mentor a high-performing team to deliver measurable field marketing programs.
- Analyze campaign performance and report key metrics to business stakeholders to demonstrate return on investment.
- Design and implement comprehensive event strategies, focusing on engagement from the initial promotion through to post-event follow-up.
Must-haves
- At least 10 years of experience in B2B field or regional marketing, including a minimum of 5 years in a leadership capacity.
- Proven track record of building strategies that directly contribute to pipeline growth and revenue.
- Expertise in using CRM, marketing automation, and account-based management tools like 6Sense to track and report on performance.
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to turn market insights into actionable decisions.
- Exceptional communication and collaboration skills to work effectively across diverse teams.
- Ability to manage multiple complex projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel as required.
