Role at a glance
We are seeking a senior-level professional to join us as a Director, End User Content Strategy. This is a remote, contract-to-hire position that offers you the chance to own our voice and shape how we communicate with the people we serve. You will be reporting to the Head of Lifecycle Marketing and collaborating across our organization to drive engagement and program success.
Your impact
- Define and execute a comprehensive content strategy that guides our learners from their initial awareness of Pathstream through to program completion.
- Produce high-quality creative work yourself, ranging from punchy SMS copy to scripting and directing video content that resonates with frontline employees.
- Build a scalable content operation by managing freelance contractors and vendors, ensuring our brand voice remains consistent, motivating, and credible across every channel.
What you'll need
- At least 7 years of experience in content strategy or marketing, specifically within B2C or consumer-facing environments.
- Exceptional writing skills and the ability to adapt your tone across various formats like email, social media, and video scripts.
- A proven ability to turn raw data, such as survey results or interview notes, into compelling narratives that speak directly to our audience.
- Strong creative direction instincts, allowing you to provide actionable feedback to designers and video producers.
- A data-driven mindset, with the ability to analyze performance metrics to iterate on your strategy and prove business impact.
- Fluency in English and the ability to thrive in a remote, cross-functional environment.
Perks and compensation
The compensation for this contract role is based on your geographic location:
- SF/NYC: $145,000 to $175,000 USD
- Tier 2 regions: $129,000 to $158,000 USD
- Tier 3 regions: $120,000 to $145,000 USD
In addition to this compensation, you will enjoy the flexibility of remote work.
