The role
We are seeking a Director of Digital Marketing & CRM to join our team in a full-time, remote capacity. This is a highly strategic leadership position that will shape the future of our customer retention efforts. You will be responsible for overseeing our email and SMS marketing programs while collaborating with cross-functional partners to execute integrated, multi-channel campaigns. We are looking for an experienced director who can blend creative vision with data-driven decision-making to build long-term, profitable customer relationships.
Core responsibilities
- Lead our Email and SMS marketing teams to identify and prioritize strategic growth opportunities that drive retention and attract new customers across our hardgoods and culinary business segments.
- Develop personalized, industry-leading customer journeys that span the entire lifecycle, ensuring every touchpoint is aligned with our brand and specific campaign objectives.
- Partner with internal teams, including eCommerce, analytics, and merchandising, to leverage data and predictive modeling to improve key metrics such as customer lifetime value, frequency, and average order value.
Skills and experience
To be successful in this role, you should possess a strong background in retail and a passion for digital marketing. We require the following qualifications:
- At least five years of experience in a supervisory or managerial role.
- Extensive expertise in CRM, ESP, CDP, and loyalty marketing, with a proven track record of using data-driven insights to optimize customer segments and lifecycle methodology.
- Strong experience in vendor management, roadmap planning, and statistical analysis.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex strategies to executive leadership.
- A four-year degree in Marketing or Business Administration is preferred, though an equivalent combination of education and experience is welcome.
