The opportunity
We are seeking a Director of CRM to set the vision and strategy for our customer relationship management programs. In this executive role, you will guide cross-functional operations to ensure we deliver a best-in-class experience for sports fans every single day. You will play a pivotal part in driving subscriber growth, engagement, and retention by advancing our CRM practices and fostering innovation across the organization. This is a remote position open to candidates based in the United States or Canada.
A day in the life
- You will develop and execute a comprehensive strategy for prospect and subscriber engagement across CRM channels to drive long-term business growth.
- You will partner closely with our editorial, product, and marketing teams to design content portfolios and newsletters that resonate with our audience and meet subscription objectives.
- You will lead, mentor, and grow a high-performing CRM team while serving as a key stakeholder who communicates our strategy and impact to leadership across the company.
Who you are
You are a strategic leader with 8 or more years of experience in guiding teams from the inception of an idea through to successful execution. You have a proven track record of managing diverse, distributed teams and are comfortable navigating the intersection of technology, data, and marketing. You possess the following qualifications:
- Expertise in managing technical discussions regarding CRM tooling, automation, and algorithmic decisioning.
- Strong experience collaborating with digital product and data teams to achieve measurable results.
- Excellent communication skills in English, with the ability to represent complex strategies to senior stakeholders.
- A background working in a newsroom or collaborating with journalists is considered a significant plus.
