We are looking for a passionate student to join our team as a Digital Reporter Intern. At ONC, we focus on delivering nonpartisan news, thoughtful opinions, and policy solutions to our audience. As part of our Marketing department, you will play a key role in helping us foster informed discussions about the political and journalistic issues that shape our society today. If you are comfortable on camera and eager to help us grow our digital presence, we would love to have you on board.
What you'll be doing
- You will produce timely news updates and topic breakdowns specifically designed for our social media platforms.
- You will conduct on-the-street interviews with the public and students to capture diverse perspectives on current events.
- You will work alongside our leadership team to research and implement ethical AI tools that improve our content production and operational efficiency.
What you'll bring
To succeed in this role, you should be a student who is comfortable appearing on camera and sharing video content across our website and social channels. We are looking for someone who possesses the following skills and qualifications:
- Strong proficiency in English.
- A keen interest in marketing, social media, and video content creation.
- Experience or a strong desire to learn about AI tools and their ethical application.
- Confidence in public speaking and reporting.
- The ability to work effectively in a remote environment, maintaining clear communication through tools like Slack and Zoom.
