About the role

We are redefining what an in-house agency is and are looking for a Digital Marketing Specialist to join the Herd. As a key contributor, you would be pivotal in managing our digital presence, crafting compelling content, and contributing to our overall digital marketing strategy for our Domains Services’ line of business. If you have a passion for analytics and reporting, creating engaging content, and experience with HubSpot, social media, and WordPress, we want to hear from you!

What you'll be doing

The role involves collaborating with marketing team members and peers across the business, including sales, product management, business owners, and partners, to deliver quality digital content. You will be responsible for the following:

Analytics and reporting:

• Monitor and analyze content performance metrics using tools like Google Analytics and HubSpot.
• Provide regular reports on content effectiveness and make data-driven recommendations.

Internal communications coordination:

• Liaise with the internal communications team to determine when to share news, updates, and events impacting the Tucows Domains Services’ line of business on the team Slack channel.

Social media and newsletter content coordination:

• Plan, create, and manage social media posts across platforms to increase brand visibility and engagement.
• Monitor social media trends and implement strategies to maximize reach.
• Write and assemble newsletter features to be sent through Hubspot.

Website content management:

• Manage and update content on the company website using WordPress.
• Ensure website content is SEO-friendly and aligns with current industry best practices.

Education and experience

• 1-2 years of content marketing experience in either an agency or on an in-house team or relevant internship experience with a B2B company.
• Bachelor’s degree in marketing, creative advertising, communications, or a related field.
• Experience with content creation and social media management.
• Familiarity with HubSpot, including content management and marketing automation, would be an asset.
• Proficient in WordPress for website content management is also an asset.
• Strong writing and editing skills with a keen eye for detail.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment. #LI-NA1 #LI-Remote

The base salary range for this position is $67,000 to $74,400. Range shown in $CAD for Canadian residents. Other countries will differ. Range may vary on a number of factors including, but not limited to: location, experience and qualifications.
