Based in Charlotte, North Carolina, CPI Security has grown from a small entrepreneurial venture in 1991 into one of the nation’s top ten security providers. We are looking for a visionary Director of Digital Design & User Experience to lead our multi-device strategy and champion user-centric design across our web and mobile platforms.
Responsibilities
- Own the end-to-end user experience strategy, ensuring our digital interactions are frictionless and drive significant business value.
- Lead and mentor a talented team of interactive designers, information architects, visual designers, and developers.
- Define and track key UX metrics while setting the strategic direction for ongoing usability research.
- Partner with Product Management and Marketing teams to align design vision with our broader business goals and product roadmap.
- Manage creative design and business analysis budgets by utilizing performance analytics to guide spending.
- Advocate for innovative design solutions that remain functional within technical platform constraints.
- Oversee the execution of A/B testing and optimization strategies to continuously improve our digital touchpoints.
Must-haves
- Three to five years of professional experience in website and mobile design, user experience flows, and requirements management.
- Strong proficiency in Figma and Adobe Creative Cloud.
- Advanced skills in the Microsoft Office suite, including Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Extensive knowledge of user interface design patterns and standard user-centered design methodologies.
- Functional understanding of digital commerce business processes.
- Fluency in English.
- A bachelor’s degree in a related field, or equivalent experience that demonstrates your expertise.
