Developer Relations Manager at Speechmatics

We are currently looking for a Senior Developer Relations Manager to join our team in the United Kingdom on a hybrid basis. In this role, you will act as the primary bridge between our technical innovations and the developer community, ensuring that our tools empower creators worldwide.

Key outcomes

• Build and nurture a thriving developer community through active engagement on social media, online forums, and at industry events.
• Serve as the internal advocate for our developers, gathering feedback to help our product and engineering teams optimize the developer experience.
• Produce high-quality technical content, such as tutorials, blog posts, documentation, and webinars, to facilitate the adoption of our technology.
• Provide hands-on technical guidance and support to help developers successfully integrate our APIs and SDKs.
• Establish and maintain strategic relationships with industry influencers, partners, and key stakeholders.
• Represent Speechmatics as a spokesperson at hackathons, conferences, and meet-ups to showcase the capabilities of our AI solutions.

Requirements

• Extensive experience in developer relations, community management, or a similar technical role.
• Practical, hands-on proficiency with APIs, SDKs, and various developer tools.
• A proven track record of collaborating with internal product and engineering teams to translate community insights into product improvements.
• Strong technical writing skills, with the ability to create clear, concise documentation and educational materials.
• Deep understanding of AI, machine learning, and speech technology.
• Exceptional communication and networking skills, with the ability to explain complex concepts to diverse audiences.
• The ability to adapt quickly and thrive in a fast-paced, scale-up environment.
• Fluency in English.
