The role

We are looking for a Senior Developer Marketer to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a remote-friendly position that can be performed from anywhere. As a key member of our marketing team, you will be responsible for ensuring our brand remains authentic and top of mind for developers everywhere. This role is ideal for a seasoned professional who understands the technical landscape and wants to make a significant impact in a fast-paced startup environment.

Core responsibilities

• Content Creation: Produce a wide variety of content, including blog posts, video tutorials, and live streams, to share our story and keep our community informed.
• Community Building: Foster engagement across our platforms, including our Slack community and events, while identifying new ways to connect with developers.
• Brand Strategy: Execute creative marketing campaigns and events that reinforce our identity as a beloved, developer-focused brand.

Skills and experience

To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:

• Deep familiarity with developer tools and a genuine passion for the developer community.
• Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to adapt messaging for technical audiences.
• Experience as a scrappy operator who can turn complex ideas into actionable marketing plans.
• A proven track record in content creation and managing successful marketing campaigns.
• Technical proficiency or programming experience is highly valued, as it helps you better understand how developers think.
• Fluency in English.
