What is this role?
We are looking for a Senior Developer Experience and Community Lead to join us on a full-time basis. This is a hybrid position based in the United States. In this role, you will act as the primary champion for our developers, ensuring they have a seamless and productive experience while working with our technology. You will bridge the gap between our internal product teams and the external developer community to foster growth and innovation.
What will you do?
- Advocate for developers by collaborating with our product, design, and engineering teams to refine our APIs, SDKs, and documentation for a better overall experience.
- Build and nurture our community by developing strategies to attract and retain developers, identifying key influencers, and hosting engaging events.
- Analyze performance data to measure the health of our community, track the effectiveness of our initiatives, and provide actionable reports to inform our future strategy.
What makes you a great fit?
To be successful in this role, you should have a deep understanding of the developer ecosystem and a passion for community building. We are looking for the following qualifications:
- At least 5 years of hands-on experience as a software developer, giving you a strong grasp of developer needs and workflows.
- A solid foundation in software development methodologies and modern technical tools.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, which you will use to engage with our community and internal stakeholders.
- A bachelor's degree in computer science or a related field.
- Bonus points if you have experience organizing and hosting both online and offline events.
