We are seeking an experienced Developer Advocate to join our team and strengthen engagement with developers and architects who work with modern search, analytics, and AI technologies. Rockset provides a real-time analytics database that integrates into contemporary search and AI stacks, and we focus on helping technical audiences understand how to build with these capabilities through clear, practical resources.

Key outcomes

Establish Rockset as a recognized component of modern search, AI, and real-time architectures within developer communities.
Produce high-quality educational materials such as sample applications, technical guides, blog posts, workshops, and video content that drive meaningful developer engagement.
Collaborate with product and engineering teams to create joint solution architectures, demonstrations, and presentations.
Build and maintain relationships with external influencers while contributing to online discussions on search and AI topics.
Develop a recognized personal brand and voice within the search, AI, and database communities.

Requirements

Senior-level experience in a developer-facing or technical advocacy role.
Strong interest in continuously learning about evolving search, analytics, and AI technologies.
Proven ability to write and communicate about complex technical subjects for audiences with varying levels of expertise.
Working proficiency with SQL.
Full-time, on-site position located in the United States.
Professional fluency in English.

Preferred qualifications

Prior experience or background in search, analytics, or real-time and streaming systems.
Hands-on experience with major cloud service providers.
