We are looking for an enthusiastic Developer Advocate to join our team in Pakistan. If you are a student or early-career professional who loves to code and is equally passionate about storytelling, writing, and engaging with the developer community, we would love to meet you.
What you'll be doing
- Content Creation and Storytelling: You will produce engaging social media posts, blog articles, and tutorial videos that resonate with software developers, while collaborating with our marketing and product teams to craft compelling narratives.
- Community Engagement: You will actively participate in forums and social media groups to share knowledge, gather feedback, and represent our brand at various virtual and in-person developer events or hackathons.
- Technical Advocacy: You will build sample projects and proofs of concept to highlight our platform, while translating complex technical features into accessible documentation and demos for our users.
What you'll bring
To succeed in this role, you should possess the following skills and qualifications:
- Basic proficiency in at least one programming language, such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.
- A strong passion for storytelling and the ability to explain complex technical concepts to audiences of varying skill levels.
- A demonstrated history of creating technical or educational content, whether through personal blogs, GitHub projects, or university assignments.
- Excellent communication skills and comfort engaging with audiences on social media, forums, or in person.
- Current enrollment in or completion of a Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related technical field.
- Fluency in English.
While not required, it is a plus if you have experience with community platforms like Stack Overflow or Dev.to, public speaking experience, or a history of involvement in open-source projects.
