We are looking for a Senior Developer Advocate to join our team on a full-time basis. At Neon, we are building a multi-cloud Serverless Postgres provider that simplifies the cloud development experience by automatically managing compute and storage. Our architecture allows these components to scale independently, which helps developers keep costs low while moving seamlessly from development to production. With features like database branching and a scale-to-zero pricing model, we are creating the database infrastructure needed for modern workflows. We are a distributed team of over 90 people across 25 countries, backed by $104 million in funding from top-tier investors like Menlo Ventures and General Catalyst.
Responsibilities
- Represent our brand with high energy at industry events, including meetups, conferences, and community happy hours.
- Build meaningful relationships with developers by engaging with their work and sharing your technical expertise.
- Leverage your technical background to contribute effectively to the developer and AI ecosystems.
Requirements
- Proven experience working with developer-tool products.
- Strong proficiency in JavaScript.
- Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to diverse audiences.
- A customer-focused mindset and the ability to manage multiple engagements through effective time management.
- Familiarity with sales techniques to help persuade and engage prospects.
- The ability to work independently or as part of a cross-functional team, along with a willingness to travel for professional engagements.
