Developer Advocate at Rockset

We are creating an environment where complex data sets can be transformed into fast, responsive applications and analysis without friction. We are seeking a Developer Advocate to strengthen engagement with developers and architects by producing clear, educational technical content. In this full-time, on-site role based in the United States, you will help position Rockset within contemporary search, AI, and real-time technology communities while expanding your own expertise in these rapidly evolving fields.

Key outcomes

• Establish Rockset as a core element of modern search, AI, and real-time technology stacks through active participation in developer communities.
• Produce high-quality technical content such as sample applications, step-by-step guides, technical blog posts, hands-on workshops, and video walkthroughs that drive meaningful engagement.
• Collaborate with product and engineering teams to create joint solution architectures, demonstrations, and presentations that showcase practical use cases.
• Build and maintain relationships with external influencers while contributing thoughtfully to online discussions focused on search and AI topics.
• Develop a recognized personal brand and voice within the search, AI, and database communities.

Requirements

• Strong interest in continuously learning about evolving search, analytics, and AI technologies.
• Enthusiasm for writing and sharing insights on innovative technologies with broad audiences.
• Ability to explain complex technical concepts clearly to listeners and readers with varying levels of technical experience.
• Working proficiency with SQL.
• Professional fluency in English.

Preferred qualifications

• Prior experience or demonstrated interest in search, analytics, or real-time and streaming systems.
• Hands-on experience working with major cloud service providers.
