At BarkleyOKRP, we view design as the heartbeat of everything we produce. We believe it is far more than just a craft, as it serves as a fundamental advantage that shapes our strategy, our processes, and the way people interact with the brands we build. We are looking for a creative professional who is eager to help us craft meaningful and enduring experiences that resonate with audiences on a global scale.
What is this role?
We are looking for a Mid-Level Designer to join our team in a full-time, on-site capacity within the United States. In this role, you will act as a dedicated student of design, constantly refining your craft to produce work that is both culturally relevant and perfectly aligned with our clients' brand identities. You will be expected to maintain a high standard of excellence, creating distinctive and memorable work across a variety of mediums.
What will you do?
- You will develop cohesive design systems by pushing the boundaries of typography, imagery, color, and texture to ensure our work stands out.
- You will partner closely with writers and other creative disciplines, such as motion and experience design, to build compelling brand narratives.
- You will manage your own daily and long-term assignments under the guidance of our Design Directors, ensuring every project is executed with precision and quality.
What makes you a great fit?
To succeed in this position, you should have at least two years of relevant experience or a strong combination of education and professional background. We are looking for someone who possesses a sharp, discerning eye and a deep understanding of how to apply design principles across static, motion, and interactive formats. You must be able to think strategically about our clients' business needs while staying current on cultural and technological trends. A portfolio showcasing your body of work is required for consideration. We value team players who can communicate effectively in English and who are committed to fostering a diverse, inclusive environment where original thinking can thrive.
