Since 2009, Reformation has been on a mission to prove that fashion and sustainability can go hand in hand. We are a lifestyle brand that creates vintage-inspired collections while maintaining a deep commitment to the planet, operating our own sustainable factory in Los Angeles and prioritizing eco-friendly fabrics. We are currently looking for a Senior Designer to join our team on a full-time, on-site basis in either Los Angeles or New York. In this role, you will help us stay ahead of emerging trends and translate them into wearable, beautiful pieces that our customers love.
Responsibilities
- Lead trend forecasting for your categories by monitoring macro trends and determining which styles to test and invest in for the brand.
- Manage the entire design process, including sketching new concepts and creating detailed tech packs to guide product development.
- Collaborate closely with our Merchandising, Product Development, and Technical Design teams to ensure every piece meets our high standards for quality, fit, and sustainability.
Requirements
- At least 5 years of professional experience in apparel design, with a strong eye for detail and a deep appreciation for fabrics and trims.
- Extensive knowledge of garment construction, fit, and finishing, as well as proficiency in CAD software.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment while managing multiple priorities.
- A genuine passion for sustainability and a strong enthusiasm for the Reformation brand.
