Designer, Sweaters, Knits & CWA at Club Monaco

We are looking for a Senior Designer to join our team at Club Monaco for a full-time, on-site position. As an international lifestyle brand, we pride ourselves on a unique, urban casual perspective that balances vintage influences with modern minimalism. We are seeking a creative professional who can help us build the essential pieces that define a contemporary wardrobe, specifically focusing on our sweater, knit, and cold weather accessory collections.

Responsibilities

• Lead the conceptualization and creation of compelling, brand-right designs for sweaters, cut and sew knits, and cold weather accessories.
• Manage the full design lifecycle, including hand and computer sketching, yarn and fabric sourcing, and attending fittings from initial development through to final production.
• Collaborate closely with our Design Director, merchandising, and technical design teams to ensure all products meet our financial goals and aesthetic standards.

Requirements

• At least 7 years of professional experience specifically in the design of sweaters and cut and sew knits.
• A bachelor’s degree in fashion design, ideally with a focus on knitwear.
• Expertise in garment construction, fitting processes, and sourcing diverse yarn and textile qualities.
• Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, MS Office, and Procreate, with additional experience in PLM and Figma considered a significant advantage.
• A self-starting, entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to manage multiple seasonal projects in a fast-paced environment.

What we offer

The base salary range for this position is $80,000 to $90,000 per year. This figure is determined based on a variety of factors, including individual experience, training, and specific business needs.
