Designer-Drafter at Expliseat

What is this role?

We are looking for a Designer-Drafter to join our team on a contract basis. This is a mid-level position that requires you to work on-site at our factory in Angers. You will be responsible for translating complex technical requirements into high-quality 3D models and detailed drawings, ensuring that every component we produce meets our rigorous standards for performance and manufacturability.

What will you do?

• You will use SolidWorks to design mechanical components and assemblies, working closely with our engineering team to balance constraints related to manufacturing, weight, and maintenance.
• You will produce precise technical drawings and assembly instructions, ensuring that every document adheres to our internal design checklists and best practices.
• You will contribute to our aircraft cabin layout projects by determining the placement of seating and equipment, while ensuring the final designs align with specific client requirements and cabin environment constraints.

What makes you a great fit?

To succeed in this role, you should have a strong technical background and a keen eye for detail. We are looking for someone who meets the following criteria:

• At least two years of professional experience working with SolidWorks.
• A solid understanding of ISO dimensioning and functional tolerancing.
• An advanced level of French and a conversational level of English.
• Experience with PDM software, knowledge of textile or upholstery design, or expertise in cable routing and electronic component integration would be considered significant assets.
