We use the power of artificial intelligence to help physicians make faster, more accurate decisions when treating life-threatening vascular and neurovascular conditions. With insights gathered from over 10 million scans across 2,000 hospitals globally, our platform is transforming how care teams coordinate and deliver patient outcomes. We are looking for a passionate researcher to help us bridge the gap between complex technology and the human experience of those saving lives every day.
Role at a glance
We are seeking a Senior Design Researcher to join our team on a full-time basis. This is a hybrid role based in the United States, where you will serve as the primary researcher supporting our product design team. You will report directly to the Head of Design and Research, working in close collaboration with product managers and engineers to shape the future of our clinical software.
Your impact
- Lead the end-to-end research lifecycle, from planning and executing qualitative and quantitative studies to analyzing findings and reporting actionable insights.
- Translate complex clinical challenges into intuitive, user-centered solutions that inform both our immediate product development and long-term strategic vision.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to identify research needs, prioritize initiatives, and ensure our products meet the high standards required by neurosurgeons and medical specialists.
What you'll need
We are looking for someone who thrives in fast-paced environments and brings a deep understanding of user behavior. You should be fluent in English and possess the following:
- Extensive hands-on experience in design research, particularly within healthcare or complex enterprise software environments.
- Expertise in mixed-method research, including 1:1 interviews, usability testing, surveys, and contextual inquiry.
- Proficiency with industry-standard tools like Figma and Dovetail, along with the ability to leverage product analytics platforms like Amplitude.
- Strong communication skills to distill complex data into compelling narratives that influence stakeholders across the organization.
- The ability to balance tactical, short-term research needs with broader, strategic product goals.
Perks and compensation
The salary range for this position is $115,000 to $130,000. Beyond your base salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package designed to support your health, well-being, and future:
- Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance with 100% of employee premiums covered.
- Equity compensation and stock options to ensure you share in our success.
- A flexible vacation policy and 11 paid company holidays.
- 401k retirement plan and life insurance coverage.
- Disability insurance and flexible spending accounts for healthcare and dependent care.
- A monthly stipend of $100 for your internet and phone expenses.
