Our work spans the entire product lifecycle, from initial visioning and discovery to the launch of transformative solutions. We are currently looking for a Design Principal to join our team in our Brooklyn studio.
Key outcomes
- Drive project vision and align teams toward strategic goals to ensure successful client outcomes.
- Lead multidisciplinary teams through the full breadth of our portfolio, utilizing Agile principles to navigate complex problem-solving.
- Execute research initiatives that prioritize user-centered design, balancing end-user empathy with core business objectives.
- Develop comprehensive project plans, including resource allocation and timeline management, while maintaining high standards of visual finesse and brand expression.
- Foster a thriving design community by nurturing talent, facilitating recruitment, and acting as a mentor to support individual career growth.
- Identify and convert new business opportunities through compelling storytelling and clear, persuasive communication.
- Serve as a key voice for the design community and act as a point of escalation for project or interpersonal challenges.
Requirements
- Extensive experience in design leadership, including a proven track record of delivering impactful work and fostering design culture.
- Strong proficiency in design strategy, user-centered design, and storytelling.
- Ability to lead and collaborate with diverse, multidisciplinary teams including developers and product managers.
- Confidence in managing senior stakeholders and navigating complex commercial decisions.
- Expertise in adapting to fast-moving environments and making rapid, informed decisions under pressure.
- Fluency in English.
- Commitment to building an inclusive, respectful, and psychologically safe work environment.
Compensation
The base salary for this full-time position ranges from $170,000 to $205,000, depending on your experience, market knowledge, and skillset. In addition to base pay, we offer a profit-sharing scheme where the studio shares a portion of operating profits with all employees.
