We are Weee!, the fastest-growing ethnic e-grocer in the United States. We are currently transforming the retail landscape by making exciting, diverse food accessible to everyone through a unique model of social buying and local partnerships. With over $800 million in funding from major investors like Softbank Vision Funds and Tiger Global, we are scaling rapidly and preparing for our next phase of growth. We are looking for a talented Design Manager to join our team at our Fremont, CA headquarters, where you will work on-site five days a week to help shape the future of our brand.
What you'll be doing
- You will build, mentor, and lead a high-performing creative team, overseeing both merchandising and communication design to ensure our visual output remains top-tier.
- You will define and implement comprehensive design strategies, establishing robust design systems that maintain brand integrity while supporting our broader business objectives.
- You will partner closely with our product, marketing, and brand departments to translate complex business goals into compelling visual campaigns and creative assets that resonate with our diverse customer base.
What you'll bring
To be successful in this role, you should have at least eight years of professional design experience, including at least three years in a leadership capacity. We are looking for someone who has a strong background in ecommerce and a portfolio that highlights your ability to lead creative strategy. You should be an expert in Adobe Creative Suite and Figma, with the ability to communicate long-term visions clearly to stakeholders. Because we serve a diverse audience, experience designing for multilingual or multicultural markets is highly valued. You are a systematic problem-solver who balances a creative eye with a data-driven, growth-oriented mindset.
What you'll get
The base salary range for this full-time position is $113,000 to $133,000. In addition to your base pay, you will have access to the following benefits:
