What you bring

As a Senior Design Manager, you will play a pivotal role in our full-time, on-site team based in Canada. You will oversee our design management functions, ensuring that our technical standards and governance are applied consistently across all projects. Your work will be instrumental in site due diligence, master planning, and supporting our construction teams to meet our long-term portfolio targets. Your primary responsibilities include:

• Leading the project design review process while coordinating effectively with internal stakeholders and external vendors.
• Managing the technical due diligence and site-specific master planning for our data center acquisition programs.
• Monitoring permitting activities and auditing designs to identify discrepancies, ensuring all solutions align with our safety, quality, and sustainability standards.

Requirements

We are looking for a candidate with at least 10 years of experience in highly serviced buildings, specifically within the data center or mission-critical facility sector. You should possess a strong understanding of the interplay between mechanical, electrical, and ICT systems. Ideally, you hold qualifications in Architecture, Structural engineering, or M&E, and have a proven track record of delivering large-scale construction projects. You must be a skilled communicator in English who excels at building relationships across diverse teams. We value individuals who are commercially savvy, highly organized, and capable of mitigating project risks through proactive system implementation and technical leadership.
