The role
We are looking for an experienced Design Manager to join our team in a full-time capacity. This is an executive-level position based in India, operating in a hybrid work environment. In this role, you will be a key leader responsible for shaping the future of our product design. You will bridge the gap between user needs and business goals, ensuring that our solutions are not only functional but also deeply empathetic to the unique challenges faced by our users.
Core responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of designers to ensure both individual professional growth and overall product success.
- Drive design strategy by collaborating closely with research, product, engineering, and business teams to build scalable, high-impact solutions.
- Utilize both quantitative and qualitative data to validate new experiences, conduct usability testing, and make informed, user-centric design decisions.
Skills and experience
To be successful in this role, you should possess the following qualifications:
- At least 8 years of design experience within a product-focused company.
- A robust portfolio that highlights your UX/UI design skills, business acumen, and a deep sense of empathy for the user.
- Proven experience in stakeholder management and leading cross-functional teams or specific product verticals.
- Proficiency in creating and communicating design solutions through wireframes, prototypes, user flows, and high-fidelity mockups.
- Strong ability to incorporate feedback quickly and think about how UI scales to meet future product requirements.
- Fluency in English.
