About the Role

We are looking for a Design Intern to join our team on an internship basis. In this role, you will work closely with our Karl Lagerfeld Jeans designers to support the development of our women’s and men’s collections. This is a fantastic opportunity to gain hands-on experience across various product categories, including denim, jersey, knitwear, and outerwear, while contributing to the daily operations of a world-class design studio.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the Senior Designer and Product Development team by creating and maintaining accurate technical sketches and tech packs.
• Support the design team in preparing seasonal mood boards, color palettes, and fabric research, ensuring all presentation materials are organized and up-to-date.
• Manage the organization of proto and reference samples while providing general administrative support to keep the collection development process running smoothly.

Requirements

To be considered for this position, you must meet the following criteria:

• You must be officially enrolled at a university or college (HBO or MBO level) for the entire duration of the six-month internship.
• You must possess a legal permit to work or study in the Netherlands, such as an EU passport or a valid visa.
• You should be pursuing a degree in Fashion Design and have a strong command of both written and spoken English.
• Proficiency in Adobe Illustrator and Photoshop is essential for this role.
• We are looking for someone with a genuine passion for denim, a sharp eye for detail, and the ability to manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.

Location

This position is based on-site at our headquarters in the heart of Amsterdam, Netherlands.
