We are looking for a Senior Design Engineer to join our team in a full-time, on-site capacity. At Peregrine, we are backed by prominent Silicon Valley investors and provide essential technology to public safety agencies nationwide, from Los Angeles to Atlanta. Our software currently supports more than 30 million Americans, helping public servants make informed decisions during critical moments. Responsibilities
- Collaborate closely with our design and engineering teams to translate complex data workflows into intuitive and delightful user experiences.
- Partner with designers to develop and maintain robust design systems that ensure consistency and quality across our product suite.
- Work alongside engineers to oversee the high-quality implementation of design concepts, ensuring that every interaction is polished and functional.
Requirements
- At least 4 years of professional experience working within cross-functional software development teams.
- Deep technical expertise in React, JavaScript, HTML, and CSS.
- A strong background in creating sophisticated user interactions and dynamic layouts.
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, including user needs, product goals, and intricate design details.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate a clear product vision to your teammates.
- A passion for growing design culture and participating in iterative design critiques.
- Ability to work on-site in San Francisco.
What we offer
We provide a competitive salary range of $130,000 to $225,000 annually. Our compensation package also includes benefits, potential equity, and potential bonuses.
