We are looking for a skilled Design Engineer to join our team in Angers. Our company focuses on specialized engineering and manufacturing, and we take pride in our ability to deliver complex mechanical solutions. In this role, you will be working directly on-site at our factory, contributing to the development of high-quality components and assemblies. What you'll be doing
- You will create 3D designs and technical drawings using SolidWorks, turning functional schematics into finished components while balancing manufacturing, weight, and maintenance requirements.
- You will manage the drafting process for individual parts and assembly instructions, ensuring every document adheres to our internal quality checklists and ISO standards.
- You will contribute to aircraft cabin planning by determining the precise placement of seating based on client specifications and environmental constraints, ultimately producing clear layout drawings.
What you'll bring
To be successful in this position, you should have a solid foundation in mechanical design and a proactive approach to process improvement. We are looking for the following qualifications:
- At least two years of professional experience working with SolidWorks.
- Strong proficiency in ISO and functional dimensioning.
- An advanced level of French and conversational English.
- Experience with PDM software, knowledge of textile or upholstery design, or expertise in cable routing and electronic component integration would be considered significant assets.
